Section 3.04 - Qualification of Directors
A. The Board and the Comanche Business Committee shall give preference in the appointment of Directors to persons who have a commitment to economic development of the Comanche Nation and backgrounds, education, experience or expertise in related or relevant areas of business, finance, management, or marketing. A majority of Directors on the Board shall be enrolled members of the Comanche Nation. 

B. It shall not be a bar to serving on the Board because a person has a business-related contractual relationship with the Corporation or the Comanche Nation, operates a business within tribal jurisdiction, or is an employee of the Comanche Nation. However, no person who is an employee of the Corporation or any of its subsidiaries shall serve on the Board. 

C. A Director is qualified for appointment or re-appointment when the person:
o Is at least 21 years of age and capable of entering into a binding contract;
o Does not have a conviction in any court of competent jurisdiction for a crime of embezzlement, fraud, ·or theft;
o Shall have completed seven (7) years beyond the completion of a period of confinement, parole, and /or probation related to a conviction in any court of competent jurisdiction for any crime except embezzlement, fraud or theft;
o Is not a spouse, father, mother, son, daughter, sister or brother of a member of the Comanche Business Committee; and
o Has academic credentials or experience in business or industry management, accounting, law, or finance;
